Picking Yourself Up Again

It is another one of those days. You feel like you’ve failed God, or someone you love, and you wish you could just restart the day and make the right choices. You feel a deep sense of regret and this causes negative thoughts of insecurity to circulate through your mind. We’ve all been there.

What do you do when you feel like you’re failing at everything you do? First? Don’t beat yourself up. Remember that we all have those days. Just make a plan, decide a positive reaction to change your ways, repent, and move on. That might sound too simple. But maybe it’s just been you making it too hard. No matter what time of day it is, you can choose to start your day anew. You have to ask for forgiveness and then BELIEVE that you are forgiven.

You have to remember that God is your greatest encourager. He loves you. And the last thing that a loving parent would want is to see their beloved child enter into a cycle of self-hate. Even if  you’ve done something wrong, God just wants you to repent and then be happy, believe in yourself, and enjoy the day he has made especially for you. Remember, as long as you are still alive, God still has a purpose to your life.

I don’t care who you are or what you’ve done. God can take anything broken and make it into something beautiful. I believe you can change your life around because I know stories of where it’s happened. I myself saw how a positive attitude can change how my days go. So don’t give up on yourself. You have two people rooting for you dear reader. Me and, more importantly, God. You can do this. Enjoy this unique day that God has prepared for you, holding on to the mercy and grace that God has promised to give you.

Love,

Annie
