Pride and the Potter

I have been having problems with pride recently.

I was thinking that God, as it says in the Bible, is the potter and he makes the clay masterpiece-perhaps a teacup (I think you can make them out of clay–I don’t know much). Would the teacup take credit for being able to pour tea? No. It would take pleasure in being able to but the credit goes to the potter. In the same way I can take pleasure in doing good, but should never give myself too much credit–I wouldn’t even be able to think without Him. In the end I am only alive and able to do anything because of Him.

But, do not be hard on yourself. We all sin. Just repent and forgive yourself.
